Adrian Błasiak, M.D., Ph.D., Vice Chief of Upper Limb Department, St. Luke's Hospital, Bielsko-Biała, Poland. Dr. Błasiak graduated from Collegium Medicum Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland in 2001 (M.D.). Dr. Błasiak completed his 1-year internship in St. Maksymilian's County Hospital in Oświęcim, Poland and did his residency in orthopedic surgery at Regional Hospital in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. He joined the orthopedic faculty at St. Luke's Hospital in Bielsko-Biała, Poland in 2009. He received his PhD at Medical University of Łódź in the field of shoulder instability in 2014. He is board certified orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Błasiak is a member of ESSKA-ESA, Polish Arthroscopic Society (PTA) and Polish Shoulder and Elbow Society (PTBŁ). He is a Vice Chef of Section of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery of Polish Society for Orthopedics and Traumatology (from 2016). He has authored numerous articles and book chapter in the area of orthopedics and has lectured throughout his country and abroad in that field. He has also conducted several clinical trials as principal investigator and subinvestigator. From 2013 till now, he is a reviewer in Indian Journal of Orthopaedics. His research interests include innovative shoulder instability treatment options, irreparable cuff tears treatment and athletes' shoulder. In 2019 he was honored by President of the Republic of Poland with Golden Cross of Merit for contributions to health protection, activities for the development and propagation of sport.

With a first qualification in general medicine in 1997, I turned to physical and sports therapy, studies completed in 1999. My orthopedic and traumatology surgery residency was realised between 1999 and 2004 in Colentina Clinical Hospital and Bagdasar Emergency Hospital. Early in my practice I observed the need for special skills in foot surgery - more interest arise after the clinical foot and ankle surgery courses followed in 2010 at LYON CHU with Dr. Jean Luc Besse and, at Bad Schwartau with Dr Kai Olms. Between 2012 and 2017 I developed more practical experience in the area of the diabetic foot care,in parallel, graduating a PhD in Orthopedics with the subject: Minimally Invasive Surgery of the Diabetic Foot, under the guidance of Prof Dr Adrian Barbilian at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Every year meant a lot of education, training and surgical activity in the areas of large joint reconstruction, gross foot and ankle deformity repair with participation at both international and national courses and conferences. I became an active member of European Foot and Ankle Society (EFAS)and the GRECMIP group with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, dealing with pathologies of the ankle (degenerative diseases such as osteoarthritis, but also sports pathologies), hind foot (flat foot, etc.) and toes (hallux valgus, claw-toe, Morton’s neuroma)
Dr Achilleas Boutsiadis is a Military Orthopaedic Surgeon.
He graduated from the Aristotle University School of Medicine, Thessaloniki, Greece and from the Military Medical School Of Thessaloniki.
He performed his residency at 424 General Military Hospital of Thessaloniki and at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Greece.

Dr A. Boutsiadis has 35 publications in PubMed, 10 Chapters in Textbooks, Editor of a Textbook and over 100 presentations in national and international congresses focusing on shoulder surgery and sports injuries treatment.He is active member of the European Society for Sports Traumatology Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA) and the European Shoulder Associates section (ESA), the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow (SECEC), and the Hellenic Arthroscopic Society (EAE).
His daily practise is focused on shoulder arthroscopic operations (rotator cuff, instability), shoulder elective surgery (total shoulder arthroplasty, reverse shoulder arthroplasty), shoulder trauma, knee trauma, knee arthroscopic and elective surgery.
Dr. Emmanouil (aka: Manos) Brilakis was born on 4 January 1976 in Athens, Greece. He is living and working in Athens, the capital of Greece and he is a Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon specialized in Shoulder, Knee and Sports Orthopaedics. He is married having 2 children, a 6-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl. He received his degree from the Medical School of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens (2003) and followed this up with a residency training program in Trauma & Orthopaedics, in the 2nd Orthopaedic Department of the same University. He undertook a Shoulder fellowship program in the Center of Shoulder Arthroscopy and Open Surgery of Athens (an ESSKA and ISAKOS accredited teaching center) making a use of the awarded fellowships from the Hellenic Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (2012) as well as from the Hellenic Arthroscopic Association (2012). He has also completed a MSc degree (2010) in “Metabolic bone diseases” and his PhD thesis (2018).
He has been appointed as attending physician at the 3rd Orthopaedic Department of Hygeia Hospital from 2017 and from 2020 he has been awarded the title of Associate Director of this department. He is also available for private consultations at his office (Brilakis Orthopaedics) located in Palaio Faliro, Greece. His has been appointed as Head team Doctor for several Greek teams, distinguishing the female Basketball team of Olympiakos Piraeus and Panionios GS. He is actively involved in research having published articles and book chapters in national & international publications.
He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of ISAKOS. He is specialized in arthroscopic surgery since 1991, being the first to introduce this specialty in Romania. Dr. Doru Filipescu has an extensive experience in knee surgery (over 30,000 cases treated) and arthroscopic shoulder surgery (over 5000 cases). He is interested in the pathology of the ligament and other cartilaginous diseases (recurrent dislocations, instabilities of various causes, ruptures of the rotator cuff, blocked shoulder, elbow, anterior cruciate ligament transplant, meniscus ruptures, synovitis, patellar diseases, ankle). Ladislav Kovačič works as an orthopaedic trauma surgeon at the Department of Traumatology at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana in Slovenia. This hospital is the leading medical institution in the country and comprises the major trauma unit. He is daily involved in the treatment and management of injured patients. For several years, his special expertise has been the management of injuries and disorders of the shoulder girdle. Open and arthroscopic surgical procedures are used in his hands for the surgical treatment of shoulder pathology. He acquired latest knowledge visiting renowned foreign experts. Surgical work in the hospital gives him major experience in the broad range of injuries treatment, from fractures to reconstructive procedures and management of complex and revision problems. He is author of several scientific publications and he presented his works on international scientific conferences. He is author and co-editor of some published books on shoulder pathology. He also works as reviewer for international scientific journals in field of orthopaedics and sports traumatology. Dr Stefan Mogos completed his orthopaedic residency training at the Foisor Orthopaedics Clinical Hospital Bucharest. He is currently an orthopaedic surgeon at this hospital and he is a knee surgery specialist.
He is also the President of the Romanian Society of Arthroscopy and Sports Trauma since June 2018 and the Ambassador of the Romanian Society of Arthroscopy and Sports Trauma at ESSKA since June 2015. From 2014-2018, he was the General Secretary of the Romanian Society of Arthroscopy and Sports Trauma. He was also the Vice-Chairman of the Scientific Committee of SRATS Congress in 2018 and a member of the Scientific Committee of SRATS Congress in 2016. Mihai Roman is a orthopaedic and trauma surgeon from Sibiu, Romania. He received his MD degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Iuliu Hatieganu” Cluj Napoca in 1996 and completed his training in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery in 2001. During his student years and his training, he spent one year in Switzerland (Kantonspital Zug) and had a 2 month ESSKA Fellowship in Berlin, Germany (prof. Dr. A. Weiler) among numerous participations at various courses and congresses.
